Molds destroy their food source. Often times this means destroying our homes or workplace.
Different types of mold cause different health related issues. Anything from respiratory issues to confusion and depression.
Through our 3 step process we can determine the type of mold, where the moisture is coming from and remediate the damage. Leaving you with a safe and healthy environment!
Step 1. Through air testing we can determine what types of mold spores are in the air and if their levels are too high and the danger they pose.
Step 2. Once a mold problem is determined, we can perform an I.A.Q. inspection and using our moisture detection service and equipment we can find the source of the mold problems.
Step 3. Once the moisture problem is solved, then with our mold remediation service the mold can be killed and removed from the affected surfaces. We will then perform clearance testing to make sure issues are resolved.

What are the potential health effects of mold in buildings and homes? Some people have mild symptoms such as nasal stuffiness, eye irritation, wheezing, or skin irritation when exposed to molds while others may have more severe reactions to molds, such as fever and shortness of breath. Immunocompromised people, and people with chronic lung diseases like COPD are at increased risk for infections and may develop fungal infections in their lungs. (CDC) (Center for Disease Control)
Does UV radiation from UV lamps kill mold? Typical UVGI cleaners used in homes have limited effectiveness in killing bacteria and molds. Effective destruction of some viruses and most mold and bacterial spores usually requires much higher UV exposure than is provided in a typical home unit. Furthermore, dead mold spores can still produce allergic reactions, so UVGI cleaners may not be effective in reducing allergy and asthma symptoms. (EPA) (Environmental Protection Agency)
If I have mold issues should I have my air duct cleaned? You should consider having the air ducts in your home cleaned if: There is substantial visible mold growth inside hard surface (e.g., sheet metal) ducts or on other components of your heating and cooling system.(EPA) (Environmental Protection Agency)
